LSS Games 2022

The Laurelbank School System organized LSS Games 2022 for classes I – XII students at the Railway Stadium Lahore on the 3rd of December. Mr. Muhammad Inam Butt, a Pakistani Professional Wrestler was the chief guest on the occasion. The programme started with recitation of a few verses from The Holy Quran followed by the translation. Ms. Kiran Mian, the Director LSS delivered a cordial welcome address.
After the address, the games were formally declared open by Dr. Salma Mian, the CEO Laurelbank School System. A disciplined March Past followed by ceremonial lighting of the games torch set the tone for the rest of the day. The students entered in the spirit of the occasion with the oath-taking being administered by our sports coordinator, Mr. Muhammad Nadeem.
The best athletes from all campuses participated in vibrant races such as Pizza Man Race, Tower Race, 100m and 4 × 100m Relay Races. PT display presented by our Daroghawala Campus left the audience spellbound. Students from Alhamra Town Campus stole the show with a performance on ‘لٹھے دی چادر’ highlighting the cultural significance of folk songs.
The event culminated with the Prize Distribution Ceremony. Hali House from Daroghawala Campus was declared ‘The Best House’ and Iqbal House from Shalimar Campus grabbed the ‘Runner-Up Trophy’ Jinnah House and Ghalib House from Shalimar Campus received the most ‘Disciplined House’ and ‘Fair Play’ trophies. The cultural performance of Alhamra Town Campus students won the ‘Best Performance’ trophy. Muhammad Subhan (XM-BA) from Daroghawala Campus won the title of the ‘Best Athlete’ among boys while Maheen Fatima (IX-MGC) from Shalimar Campus I was declared ‘Best Athlete’ among girls. The chief guest Mr. Muhammad Inam Butt distributed prizes among the winners and admired the display of sportsmanship by the young players.
The event ended with a vote of thanks to all the guests for their presence and support.

LSS Games 2018

The Laurelbank School System hosted LSS Games 2018 for the primary sections at the Railway Stadium Lahore on the 1st of December. Mr. Usman Salahuddin, Pakistani International Cricketer was the chief guest on the occasion. The programme started with recitation of a few verses from The Holy Quran followed by translation.

After the recitation, the games were formally declared open by Dr. Salma Mian, the Managing Director LSS. A disciplined March Past followed by ceremonial lighting of the games torch set the tone for the rest of the day. The students entered in the spirit of the occasion with the oath taking being administered by our sport coordinator, Mr. Muhammad Nadeem.

The best athletes from Primary Sections participated in vibrant races such as Rope Skipping Race, Balloon Bursting Race, 100 m and 400 m Relay Races. The event was made even more exciting and enthralling by PT and Aerobics from our Daroghawala and Alhamra Town Campuses respectively. Students from Shalimar Campus 1 performed on the choir song ”سب پاکستانی ملتے ہیں تو بنتا پاکستان”.

Iqbal House from Shalimar Campus I and Johar House from Alhamra Town Campus received the most ‘Disciplined House’ and ‘Fair Play’ trophies respectively. M.Abdullah (V-G) from Daroghawala Campus won the title of the ‘Best Athlete’. The chief guest Mr. Usama Salahuddin distributed prizes among the winners and admired the display of sportsmanship by them.

At the end the Managing Director LSS, Dr. Salma Mian, presented souvenirs to the chief guest as token of gratitude.

LSS Games 2015

 The Annual Sports Day of the Laurelbank School System was held on Saturday 12th December 2015 at the Punjab Stadium, Lahore. Mr. Azhar Ali – Captain Pakistan ODI Cricket Team was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Mr. Rehan Butt – former Captain Pakistan Hockey Team also graced the event with his presence as the Guest of Honour.

The programme started with recitation of a few verses from the Holy Quran followed by translation. Mr. Imran Mian, the Director LSS, gave his welcome address. The ‘March Past’ and the ‘Oath Taking Ceremony’ by athletes of Shalimar, Alhamra Town and Daroghawala Campuses gave a beautiful start to this eventful day. Sack Relay Race, Beans Bag Balancing Race, Chaati Race, Crazy Hat Race were the most interesting among all the races. Beside these races the spectators also enjoyed melodious songs by the school choir, a Karate demonstration, a PT Display and a wonderful folk performance presented by various campuses of LSS.

‘Hali House’ from Daroghawala Campus was declared the Best House while ‘Johar House’ was the Runner up House. Faizan Kaleem XMB and Kashaf Tanveer IXMGA from Alhamra Town and Daroghawala Campuses won the Best Athletes of the Year trophies among boys and girls respectively. Iqbal House won the Most Disciplined House prize. The ‘Karate Demonstration’ from Shalimar   Campus I was declared the best performance of the event. The Guest of Honour Mr. Rehan Butt gave away the prizes to the winning athletes and the house captains. He appreciated the zeal and sportsmanship of the young athletes. Dr. Salma Mian, the Managing Director LSS, presented souvenirs to the guests.

LSS Games 2013

The Annual Sports Gala of the Laurelbank School System Primary Schools was held on 14th December 2013 at the Railway Stadium. Ms. Ghazala Yasmin – the National Golf Champion was the chief guest. The programme started with the recitation of the Holy Quran. After the flag hoisting ceremony, March Past and Oath taking by the athletes of Shalimar, Alhamra Town and Daroghawala Campuses, a melodious song was presented by the school choir. Some of the interesting events were 100m Race, Sack Relay Race and Mr. Up to Date Race. The spectators were spell bound by the Karate Demonstration of the students of The Shalimar Campus I, The Alhamra Town and The Daroghawala Campuses presented, aerobics and a colourful P.T. display respectively.

The Hali House from The Shalimar Campus I was declared the best house while Sir Syed House was the runner up. The Alhamra Town Campus ‘aerobics’ received the best performance award. In the end, prizes were distributed among the winners of the various sports events by the chief guest. She appreciated the zeal and sportsmanship of the young athletes.
