Laurelbank School System

Instituted in 2011 in memory of the late Dr. Hamayun Mushtaq Mian, co-founder of the Laurelbank School System, the Dr. Hamayun Mian Award is presented each year to a student for outstanding all-round performance in curricular, co-curricular, and extracurricular fields. For 2025, the award carrying a gold medal and a cash prize of Rs. 50,000/- was received by Mahad Mehmood from O-Level Section, Alhamra Town Campus. Mahad secured 8 As, including 6 As* and 2 As, in the CIE O-Level Examination 2025. He also earned laurels through his active participation in several co-curricular and extracurricular activities. He won a silver medal in Inter-Branch Cricket 2019 and a gold medal in Intra-Branch Football 2022. He was recognised with the ‘Diophantus Performance Star’ in the Kangaroo Mathematics Contest 2022. He also received a gold medal in the Intra-Branch Annual Quiz 2023. Congratulations to Mahad for receiving the ‘Dr. Hamayun Mian Award 2025’. Well done!
