Laurelbank School System

The Laurelbank School System held its Annual Prize Distribution Functions for the Secondary Boys and Girls Branches of Shalimar, Daroghawala and Alhamra Town Campuses on 8th and 9th June 2026 at Alhamra Arts Council, Hall I. Prof. Dr. Muzaffar Abbas, Director Institute of Islamic Culture Lahore, was the chief guest for the Boys Function. The Girls Function was presided over by Ms. Saima Bashir, Director of Studies Laurelbank School System.
After the formal proceedings, the prize distribution ceremony commenced and the position holders of the academic session 2025–2026 were awarded shields and medals. Students who qualified for gold and silver medals on the basis of their Matriculation and CIE results also received medals along with cash prizes. The Dr. Hamayun Mian Award, presented annually to a student demonstrating excellence in academics, cocurricular and extra-curricular activities, was awarded to Abdul Manan from the O-Level Section, Shalimar Campus I.
After the prize distribution ceremony, the audience enjoyed a captivating variety programme. The students of Alhamra Town Campus presented a cultural performance to pay tribute to the peasant class of Pakistan on the songs “کُٹ کُٹ باجرہ” and “ساڈا سوہنا پاکستان”. This was followed by the choir’s song “We Are the World” from Daroghawala Campus. Last but not least was the Annual Play “مرأۃ العروس”, presented by the students of Shalimar Campus I.
