LPS Sweeps EME Futsal ’19

The Summer Futsal Fest was organized by EME Club at ‘Play On Golazo’ Nawab Town LHR on 25th Aug. Our U-14 team stood victorious receiving gold medals. Our incredible U-12 team were runner ups winning silver medals against older opposition.

Following their seniors and making us proud, LPS Juniors win ‘Interschool 5-A-Side Football Tournament’ held at our Alhamra Town Campus on 22nd Dec.’18.

5 – A – Side (U-16) Football Tournament April 2018

Laurelbank School System Football team stands victorious in the under 16 football tournament 2018. The tournament was held on Friday 20th April at our Alhamra Town Campus. Many teams from various schools and clubs of Lahore participated in the event.

5-A-Side (U-12) Football Tournament March, 2018

Laurelbank School System organized an U – 12 Football Tournament on 17th March 2018 at its Alhamra Town Campus. A total of 8 teams including host teams participated in the tournament.

5-A-Side Floodlight Football Tournament December, 2017

The Laurelbank School System organized a ‘5-A-Side Floodlight Football Tournament” on 23rd – 24th December, 2017 at its Alhamra Town Campus. A number of 23 teams from renowned football clubs of Lahore entered the tournament. Golazo LHR were the 1st rank champions of the tournament. While Paragon FC and Laurelbank Lethal Weapons were on 2nd and 3rd positions. The teams received trophies, medals and cash prizes of Rs. 25,000/-, 10,000/- and 5,000/- respectively. LPS United (Laurelbank Public School) was also awarded a cash of Rs. 5,000/- for showing best conduct during the tournament. The chief guest, Sheikh Muhammad Siddique, former international player and coach distributed prizes among the winning teams.

5 – A – Side Football Tournament March 2017

A two day ‘5-A-Side Football Tournament’ was organized by the Laurelbank School System from 18th – 19th March 2017 at its Alhamra Town Campus. The tournament was played under the following two categories: (a) upto class VIII, (b) Adult – open to all ages.

17 teams from various institutions and clubs including the host teams participated in the tournament.

After the closely contested matches, the FC Retaliator

s won in the upto class VIII category and LGS Paragon were the winners in the adult category. LGS EME and LPS Lethal Weapons (the host team) were the runners up in the upto class VIII and adult categories respectively.

The winning and the runner up teams in each category were awarded with a trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 25,000/- and Rs. 10,000/- respectively. The Chief Guest, Ch. Asghar former captain and coach of Pakistan National Football Team, gave away the prizes.

5 – A – Side Floodlight Football Tournament 2016

A four day ‘5-A-Side Floodlight Football Tournament’ was organized by the Laurelbank School System from 21st – 24th March 2016 at its Alhamra Town Campus.

The tournament was played under the following two categories:  (a):  upto class VIII, (b): Adult – open to all ages.

25 teams from various institutions including Beaconhouse School ALJT & Canal Campuses, The Punjab School Township & Khayaban-e-Jinnah Campuses, The Scholastic Islamiah, The Chand Bagh International, The Lahore Grammar School EME,  The Unique School, the hosts Laurelbank School System side by side with various private teams namely Black Hawks, Avengers, Error, Lethal Weapons, The Legions, Regal Heritage, LPS Bata and Bhaalu FC participated in the tournament.

After the closely contested matches, The Chand Bagh International won in the upto class VIII category and Beaconhouse ALJT were the winners in the adult category. The Punjab School Township and LPS Bata were the runners-up in the upto class VIII and adult categories respectively.

The  winning  team  in  each  category  was  awarded  with  a  trophy  and  a  cash  prize  of Rs. 25,000/-. The Chief Guest, Mr. Sufi Anees  Javed former international player, gave away the prizes. He appreciated the efforts of the Laurelbank School System for organizing such a huge football tournament at the grass root level.
