Laurelbank School System

A two day ‘5-A-Side Football Tournament’ was organized by the Laurelbank School System from 18^th – 19^th March 2017 at its Alhamra Town Campus. The tournament was played under the following two categories: (a)  upto class VIII, (b)   Adult – open to all ages.

17 teams from various institutions and clubs including the host teams participated in the tournament.

After the closely contested matches, the FC Retaliators won in the upto class VIII category and LGS Paragon were the winners in the adult category. LGS EME and LPS Lethal Weapons (the host team) were the runners up in the upto class VIII and adult categories respectively.

The winning and the runner up teams in each category were awarded with a trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 25,000/- and Rs. 10,000/- respectively. The Chief Guest, Ch. Asghar former captain and coach of Pakistan National Football Team, gave away the prizes.
